Every time we do any finger painting, I always try and catch a couple of hand prints. You can turn hand prints into all kinds of animals, but fish are my favorite. As my son is quite young I usually try and get the prints on a separate piece of paper, then cut it out and mount it onto card. Hand print fish can be decorated with googly eyes, glitter pens, or sequins, and details can be drawn in with a marker.
