JANE RUSSELL. Born: June 21, 1921 Minnesota. Died: Feb. 28, 2011 (aged 89) of respiratory failure. She was signed to a seven year contract in 1941 by Howard Hughes & it seemed the only films he would put her in were those that displayed Jane in a very flattering light due to her body, for example "The Outlaw" (1943), the film that was to make her famous. Starred in "Macao" (1952). Co starred with Marilyn Monroe in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" (1953). Her final film was "Darker Than Amber" (1970).
