Be it food poisoning, or some other form of foodborne illness, we have all faced food-related health issues at some point of life. According to the World Health Organisation, 1 in 10 people fall ill every year from eating contaminated food, and more than 420,000 people die each year from a food-related illness. We all have a role to play in prioritising food safety by taking care of ourselves and others.
