This is a Geography work job for kindergarten. It is a felt world map puzzle. The pieces and board are made out of regular felt and there is a black outline on the board for all of the pieces to fit into. There are also labels for all of the continents and oceans for any advanced learners. This activity would be in the science center to teach kids about maps or the world. I would use anecdotal records to assess this, writing down what the child is doing and their justifications for doing it.
