317K views · 15K reactions | What’s the secret to making extra smooth buttercream? 🧐 Well it’s 3 key things! 1.The first key is to make sure whatever mixing bowl you are using is full and the ingredients are room temperature so when you paddle your buttercream layer there’s no air that can seep in, and everything will blend nicely together. To make this super smooth I use a double batch of my Easy butttercream. 2. The second key is switching from the whisk attachment to the paddle attachment to finish the job! This helps get out any leftover air. 3. Third is Patience! Just let the mixer run anywhere from 15-30 min. I know it’s a long time but trust the process.
