Use the entire body to convey what the character is feeling or projecting. Think of how you feel inside and how it affects your body in big or small ways. What are the "signs" or "visual giveaways" that someone is feeling down or energetic, jaded or curious, etc.? You can always push some of those cues to be even more clear in your story
From the upcoming "100 Tuesday Tips Volume 2" Eyebrows are a huge part of conveying emotions or intent. One of the most common note I hear in Storyboard is "this character looks angry". What they usually mean is that the furrowed brow and arched eyebrow conveys anger much more that "focus" or "determination". A slight adjust may bring a whole new dimension to a sequence.
