So I have seen these 3 types of assessment multiple times before as I know they are big buzz words in education, but I have never really thought about where critical thinking would go in these groups! I think I would put it in every single group! It requires critical thinking to think about the big picture of what you are trying to learn, whether that assessment is done at the end of class or at the end of the semester.
