CHEAP version of shellac- No more chipped nails: (1) Apply 1 thin coat of 5 Minute Gel Polish. (2) Apply 1 coat of Essie's 3 Way Glaze base coat. (3) Apply 2 coats of polish. (4) Finish with a coat of 3 Way Glaze. SO DOING THIS!!

Elmer's glue as a base coat. Nails come out shiny like a gel polish. It works better than most base coats. In this photo she used the glue base, 2 coats of polish and seche vite top coat. Might have to try this
