Dinosaurs! features the type of dinosaur toys I played with as a kid in the 1980s. This was when they were scary lizards and didn't really have distinction. I think I started learning more of their names after watching The Land Before Time. This piece is bold and vibrant and I created it to go in an exhibition called Vivid that happened earlier this year. It features a colourful night sky filled with large stars and planets. There is a T-Rex, stegosaurus, velociraptor, pterodactyl and brontosaurus that feature in foreground. They each have a "painted on face" rather than ultra realistic features like my normal art.
