The ultimate cake for a chocoholic on his 40th! Three chocolate cakes sandwiched with chocolate frosting, surrounded with chocolate finger biscuits and a collection of his favourite chocolate treats - turkish delight, licorice bullets, rolos, clinkers, pineapple lumps and chocolate bits to fill in the gaps. A great job for out 2 and 5 year old daughters to halp make daddy's birthday cake. Fondant icing for the 40 poked into the mountain of chocoates with toothpicks.

so, i made this cake for my husband's 30th a couple of weeks ago. pretty darn proud of it. victoria sponge & chocolate victoria sponge, checkerboard effect. chocolate buttercream. decorated with milk chocolate buttons, white chocolate buttons, vice versas, revels & mini chocolate biscuit balls. inspiration totally taken from pinterest. application all mine :)
