Glaze Painting Technique

I used a glaze with the frame color. I applied painters tape (1.4” wide) to provide a bright contrastng ‘mat’ to the glaze area. The ratio was 1 part paint to 4 parts glaze. The paint volume was about 1 ounce (30 ml). A cheesecloth was used to dab/ blot/ smear/ and blend the color to achive an old world feel.
