Rosalind Cash, American singer & actress. Her best known film role is as Charlton Heston's character's love interest Lisa, in the science fiction cult classic, The Omega Man. To soap opera audiences, she is best remembered as Mary Mae Ward on General Hospital. Her films included Klute, The New Centurions, Uptown Saturday Night, Wrong Is Right, & Tales from the Hood. She also appeared in The Golden Girls, A Different World, & Go Tell It on the Mountain. She died of cancer at age 56. R.I.P.

Sidney Poitier(born February 20, 1927), is a Bahamian-American actor, film director, author, and diplomat. He join the United States Army in 1945, after which he worked as a dishwasher until a successful audition landed him a spot with the American Negro Theatre. In April 1997, Poitier was appointed Ambassador of the Bahamas to Japan, a position he currently holds. He is also the Ambassador of the Bahamas to UNESCO.
