Fargesia A non running clumping bamboo thats evergreen and fast growing. Depending on the variety can range from 6-8' to 12-18' tall. Did I mention its shade tolerant AND deer resistant? Beautiful soft texture complements other shade loving broadleaf and needled evergreens well.

South Florida Hedge Plants v.I
Podocarpus ( podocarpus macrophylla ) The podocarpus is an absolutely gorgeous dark green plant with needle like leaves will give you lots of privacy. Very easy to maintain though a slow grower and pricey. Podocarpus are typically used as a formal hedge since they create a sharp edge when trimmed due to the small leaves. Grows in full sun and are very hardy. Can be a low, medium or high hedge.

Variegated Holly Ilex Argentea Marginata
Variegated holly hedging is a perfect plant for providing a good intruder deterrent. Holly can be used as a single species hedge or part of a traditional mixed hedge. Holly is more expensive then most plants due to its slow growing habit and inability to survive well when transplanted bareroot. Therefore we only supply Pot Grown and Rootballed plants.

Use Evergreens to Make an Impact in Your Landscape
Accentuate Fall Color - One sure way to highlight the fall colors in your yard is to pair them with evergreens. Engelmann spruce (Picea engelmannii), Korean fire (Abies koreana 'Horstmann Silberlocke'), and dwarf blue spruce (Picea pungens 'Corbet'), for example, looks smashing against bold reds and oranges. And bright yellows practically sing next to a dark green background. BHG
