Vintage Toys : Plastic Aircraft of the 50s + 60s

Dimestore treasures for the young aviator. Many of these examples would be part of airport or military playsets. The major manufacturers all contributed to the variety in available means of flight for the junior pilot. From pocket size to ten inch wingspan, these plastic toys filled the gap before stepping up to pressed steel and tin litho items of the genre (exhibited on another board)
