The 3rd eye opening is at first scary - yes, but if one aligns oneself with high Beings of Light - meaning daily mental and emotional contact, just like in a prayer, that is to be successfully heard in the higher realms - daily meditations will help the inner growth tremendously, and eventually one is able to sort out the good from the bad...
