Mao Shengyun(AMAO), born in Shanghai, graduated from Osaka University of Arts with a Art & Design Master degree. She worked in production company in Tokyo after graduated and went back to China in 2015 as a freelance designer. Mao currently lives and works in Shanghai. The loneliness and Love are the main subject in Mao Shengyun’s artwork. Mao is good at observing the details from her own emotion, and revealing it in a placid way.

This geometric art deco inspired wallpaper mural features triangular shapes aligned and layered to create a pattern that resembles 2-dimensional mountains. The contrast of the warm and cool colours creates a retro feeling that pops off the wall.
