Q: How does this work?
A: Plants are laid on top of damp, pretreated fabric. The fabric and plants are tightly rolled onto a pipe or dowel then bundled with string or fabric. The bundle is placed over water and steamed to transfer the natural dyes from the plants to the fabric. ✨

A: If the fabric is properly pretreated with the correct mordants, the dyes will be bound to the fabric and will withstand wash & wear.
