2nd grade Fall reflections

This week, 2nd grade started their Fall reflection paintings. These were created in just a few steps. This project was inspired by, Lauralee Chambers . You can check her work out on Instagram, if you click on her name. Here's how we created ours. First draw out "Y" trees on a folded piece of 90lb paper, with a brown oil pastel. Chalk Pastel Ghosts

These chalk pastel ghosts were a lesson in drapery. We worked on large 26x18 in sheets of paper, rendering the folds of a sheet over a basketball perched on a stool! These spooky ghosts were done by kids ages 10-14 at Art Spot Studio.
