DIY Streamer Backdrop | Megan Picazo Events

This was my first time creating a streamer backdrop and I’m proud of how it came out! I made an 8’ x 8’ so it was pretty big and took a while, but it is really simple to do. I only used scissors, tape measure, plastic tablecloth and plastic fencing. Below I linked each product I used.

Melody Pianga on Instagram: "Most of you know my method for confetti style tassels, but for color blocked it’s a little different 🤗 Rainbow Color Blocked Tassels - I used 2 20” x 30” sheets of tissue paper per color Fold each color long ways then short (or short then long, whatever you prefer) Cut a 7ft long strip of 1/2” Ribbon Layer your colors overlapping 2”. Rotate one layer on top of the ribbon and the next on the other side of the ribbon (this helps it blend better) Cut! I prefer to cut as small as I can. I like thinner strips. Last but not least - SHAKE that tassel!!
