People get mad when you set boundaries

Someone who respects you respects your boundaries. Someone who reacts this way to them doesn't love you, no matter how much they say they do.

Boundaries are a good thing, especially if its dealing with family and there is drama, negativity, toxicity. If they get mad, yes, its a good sign that the boundary was necessary. I do not allow negativity into my world and put boundaries when necessary...even if its with family. Boundaries are important to your emotional, mental, physical, financial, and relational well being. You are not “wrong” for placing them. You are honoring yourself by doing so.

I really need to learn this. I open up, I don't set boundaries, and both end up getting hurt when it comes time for me to say I've had enough.
