The first two atcs use the heated oil pastels backgrounds. This one has a plaster gauze shape added. This one uses a luminous paste background. This one uses the Garden Walk technique. At the time, I was frustrated that my backgrounds didn't resemble the ones in the book at all. But I think this background is perfect for this atc. This one uses a flashing or ventilation tape background.

Sculpture - Small sheets of plaster gauze are dunked in water, then placed on base (carboard + filler) and rubbed into place. As the plaster dissolves, it fills the holes in the gauze. Sheet after sheet. Rubbing & smoothing all the way to cover the sculptures.plaster gauze will dry & solidify overnight.
