November Inspirational Card Challenge - Sketch

Good Monday morning. I am so excited to be on vacation this week. I have plans to play in my craft room and to start making non Christmas

Used distress ink to make blue background, Cut the tree die in crumb cake and freeform cut a snow bank in white. Colored snowman with watercolors and die cut. Layered the dies then stamped sentiment in versafine onyx black. Watered down some white acrylic paint and splattered with paint brush to look like snow.

Isn't this little guy cute?! I took a challenge to make either a Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas card using at least 3 punches. I chose to make a Christmas card. This cute little snowman took 9 punches to make him. The inspiration for the snowman came from SU demonstrator Dawn Griffith. This card is made for a round of challenges that are going on over on the Do Crafts Card Making Forum. The challenge was to make a card using embossing, so this is my creation! I embossed 3/4 of the card using my Cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder. I stamped Penny Black 'Snowy' and then coloured using watercolour pencils.
