If you’re searching for a career that will allow you to help people in your local community, social work may be the career path for you. You will need a strong moral compass, high-levels of empathy, and the ability to compartmentalize your work and personal life.

Most people tend to understand micro, macro and mezzo social work, but what do those jobs look like? Here's a breakdown of jobs at different levels. I think it really comes down to a) how many people are you working with at a time and b) how many other people are you influencing? Less moves towards micro, more towards macro.
