AEG Presents are delighted to announce that Britain’s best-loved rockers Status Quo are following on from their triumphant Hyde Park ‘Radio 2 Live’ show and coming back to reclaim their position on the live circuit – with the ‘Backbone’ UK Winter Tour in 2020.

Say what you like about Status Quo, over the past forty-five years they've become a British institution, selling 118 million albums worldwide, recording 22 Top 10 hits and spending 415 weeks in the UK singles chart. The band has had more chart hits than any other rock group.

Status Quo have been pictured back together again after 30 years as they rehearse for their forthcoming reunion tour.

Status Quo is een Engelse rockband wiens muziek gekarakteriseerd wordt door een sterke boogie en boogie-woogie stijl. De wortels van de groep liggen bij "The Spectres", opgericht door Francis Rossi en Alan Lancaster in 1962. Na diverse line-upveranderingen, werd de band eind 1967 "The Status Quo". De band heeft meer dan 60 hits in het Verenigd Koninkrijk behaald, meer dan welke andere rockband ook. 22 singles bereikten de top tien in het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
