The Suffolk Punch Trust is a charity dedicated to help protect the critically endangered Suffolk Punch through its established breeding programme, raising public awareness and training a new generation of professionals to work with these iconic heavy horses.

Just had to stop the car and take a couple of shots of these magnificent animals wheih we saw in a field as we drove around. Weighing over a ton they are so gentle but sadly their numbers are under threat as farming methods have changed over the years and it is only the enthusiasts that maintain the breed.

For hundreds of years, the Suffolk Punch horse has been used by farmers to till fields across the country.
