QUEEN VICTORIA'S SMALL DIAMOND CROWN, 1870. Being colorless, Victoria considered it suitable for widowhood. In the form of a traditional English crown, it was considered appropriate for state occasions, with the Imperial State Crown borne alongside her on a cushion.
