These are now so rare and in excellent condition…but i ve found two editions in 3 months. ..this book ( now framed) is a Globus Publication, binding designed by Glasgow girl..Jessie M King , in 1899.

Just added this to the website. I ve had a run of some of the rareGowans and Gray publications with the glassine bindings designed by Jessie M King…in fact i ve never had this title before..its a first edition , 1923.

From the same private collection i purchased…another scarce bookplate by Herbert Mc Nair…i think , not seen before. This collection was purchased unframed..which allowed me to examine and authenticate.
