River Barrow

Right on our doorstep, The Barrow Way is a long-distance trail in Ireland. 100 kilometres long and beginning in Robertstown,County Kildare and ends in St Mullins,County Carlow. Offering excellent and varied walking, the flat terrain is also ideal for cycling, although the ground is rough in areas. Architectural & historical interest include bridges, many arched, and pretty lock houses, some still in use, castles, abbeys, old bridges and derelict mills.
