Its shed roof lifts westward over high transom windows allowing tall storage areas, ample daylight, and views of sky and trees. The deep roof overhangs shelter the entries, a deck, and storage racks. The flexible interiors are comprised of a large multi-purpose room and a small adjoining room, allowing future conversion of the current shop and office into a small residence. The bathroom features a dry sauna, and a hot tub sits in the terraced garden between the two buildings. This design would work well as a backyard cottage for in-laws, extra guests, or as a rental.
