The Spot is a supervillain who appeared in the Marvel Comics Universe 1984. Rich Buckler and Al Milgrom created him. His real name is Jonathan Ohnn, a brilliant scientist who worked for the Kingpin. While working on a teleportation device, Ohnn was exposed to powerful radiation that enabled him to create portals to other dimensions. He used his powers for crime, becoming known as the Spot.
