Dress - late 1830s to early 1840s Gold figured silk dress - internal padding, banded sleeves, hem is 6" wide, closure of 12 brass hooks and eyes and one metal snap, bodice is lined with brown cotton muslin and sleeves are lined with a finer cotton of the same brown.
