Winter Encouragement for Christian Moms — Risen Motherhood
During these winter months, we learn to find peace in the darkness—to embrace what is warm and cozy now and to hang on for those golden days of summer when the sun doesn’t set until late evening. We endure long gray days because we know light is ahead and our patience will be rewarded. Seasons will turn, and the sun will shine again. So too can we remember, friends: we won’t always inhabit this in-between space ... Spring is coming. Jesus is returning.

A Prayer for Exhausted Moms — Risen Motherhood
We see those tired eyes, friend. The faltering words, the slumped shoulders, your weighted heart. Motherhood is exhausting—physically, mentally, and emotionally. When you can’t even see through the fog to know what to pray today, we hope you’ll find encouragement and perspective in these words from our friends Leslie Thompson and Douglas McKelvey at Every Moment Holy. Learning to Trust God with Our Regrets as a Mom — Risen Motherhood
‘Did I make the right call?’ ‘Could I have done better?’ ‘Should I have made a different decision?’ When we stop to evaluate the years of motherhood behind us, questions like these can easily steal our peace. But remembering God’s sovereignty over time helps us trust him with both our future and our past. Why Taking Your Kids to Church Matters — Risen Motherhood (Encouragement for Christian Moms)
We know the inconveniences of getting out the door for church—finding the missing shoes, racing through breakfast, packing the quiet time activities, getting everyone dressed and buckled in the car on time. But prioritizing Christian fellowship like this as a family accomplishes more than we know—it’s an opportunity to help shape our children in the knowledge and love of Christ, year by year, Sunday by Sunday. Learning to Trust God with Your Teens — Risen Motherhood (Encouragement for Christian Moms)
It’s easy to think we exert control over our children’s lives when they are younger, and we’re deciding their food, their schedule, their clothing, and more. But that facade quickly crumbles as they enter the teen years and begin exercising their own opinions and agency more and more.
