#AshmoleanAdvent Day 5: Roman Reindeer Brooch from France, AD 100–200 🦌 Enamelled jewellery was very popular during the Roman period. This bronze brooch in the shape of a stag, once decorated with brightly coloured enamel, would have been used to fasten a shawl or cloak.
