Back the road
I'm taking more photos of my paintings today to show what they look like framed and it reminded me to share the next piece from my 'Wildflowers of Kerry' collection! Here's is the fourth painting 'Back the road'. If you know, then you know. There's a big difference between back the road and over the road. I'm not quite sure why but this piece reminds me of all the times I used to walk back the road to my friends Fiona and Louise's house for the chats!
Hydrangeas line the road to home
Here's a little sneak peek at the third piece from my 'Wildflowers of Kerry' collection. I created 'Hydrangeas line the road to home' while sitting in Dad's garden. Everyone seems to have these beautiful flowers in their gardens at home. I love the various pastel hues and how they differ from house to house. A friend told me that the colours vary depending on the ph of the soil (I'm not sure if it's true), and that's why you can have different colours in one garden.
The Bungalows Garden
Sticking with the #montbretia theme of today here is the second piece from my new collection 'The Bungalows Garden'. We've had swallows in our garden forever, when I was creating this piece they were swooping above me so I knew I had to add in a little friend. They are so quick it was hard to get a view of their likeness.
Sunset at Minard
Well my business name is all registered and hopefully it won't be long 'til I can I put my first collection (Wildflowers of Kerry) up for sale. First piece from this collection is 'Sunset at Minard'. It's acryllic and mixed medium on 12x16" canvas board, so perfect for framing. What do you think? I'll be posting more photos nearer to launch date!
