Small stars are framed with four triangles to make blocks the same size as the large stars. The sashing is asymmetrical, with half being a wide cream rectangle and half being narrow blue-cream-blue rectangles. These are turned with the cream side next to the large stars. Pieced setting squares make the sash strips appear to weaves. Maritime - Stellar Quilts, 2009. Designed and pieced by Judy Martin. Quilted by Debbi Treusch. 96" x 96". Alternate sizes of 78" x 96" and 55" x 55" also presented.
