We decided on the Kura bed from IKEA but put a double bed underneath for reading bedtime stories. There isn't much headroom for adults but it's great for the kids. They LOVE it! I was also pleasantly surprised by the bedding at IKEA. These two duvets have different prints (polka dots for my daughter and trucks for my son) but the colors coordinate.
With all three kids in one 11x11 room (and every single toy, book, and item of clothing sharing it as well), floor space is very limited. So we take advantage of every inch underneath the beds to free up space and reduce clutter! (one bunk bed and one toddler bed) Also helps keep random clothes, toys and junk from collecting under there and having to be cleaned out.
