Clondalkin, 1930s, Home of the novelist and poet Katharine Tynan. W.B.Yeats visited the house, Whitehall, on numerous occasions.The Tynan house, Whitehall, was outside the village at Belgard ( Newlands Cross) surrounded by farmland.

The two-storey building beyond the Custom House is the original Liberty Hall, which I only found out yesterday was formerly the Northumberland Hotel
