De Tomaso Automobili ltd. (formerly known as De Tomaso Modena SpA) is an Italian automobile manufacturing company. It was founded by Argentinean Alejandro de Tomaso (1928–2003) in Modena in 1959. It originally produced several prototype and racing cars, including a Formula 1 car for Frank Williams' team in 1970. Most of the funding for the automaker came from from De Tomaso's brother-in-law, Amory Haskell Jr, Rowan Industries. De Tomaso Automobili ltd.
